From inside the app
- Open Bamio and sign in as the parent.
- Go to parent settings.
- Choose to delete a child profile, or delete the whole account.
- Confirm. We start deletion straight away.

By email
Email admin@bamio.in with the subject “Account Deletion Request”. Include:
- The parent email address on the account.
- Whether you want one child profile deleted or the whole account.
- The child’s display name, if you are deleting one profile.
What happens next
- Bamio targets completion of deletion from active systems within 30 days of a validated request unless a longer period is required for legal, security, dispute, school-record or operational reasons.
- Residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until the relevant backup cycle expires and are not intended to be restored for ordinary product use after deletion.
- For school-linked accounts, de-linking or deleting the Bamio account may require coordination with the school. School-held records may remain with the school under school policy or applicable requirements.
What gets deleted
Account and child profile
Deleted or de-identified following a valid deletion request, subject to legal, dispute, security and backup requirements.
Voice Diary, SpeakUp and Spotlight recordings
Removed with the child profile or parent account.
Transcripts, scores, feedback and learning history
Deleted or de-identified after profile/account deletion, subject to school/legal requirements.
School-controlled academic records
Retained by the school under its own agreement, policy and legal duties — contact the school directly for these.
